Pre-Season Strength Training & Captains Practice Sessions

Minneapolis HS Lacrosse will be offering two great pre-season opportunities this March. All returning and perspective Boys & Girls HS players are welcome and encouraged to participate. There is, however, no requirement to do so. 


Sports Performance Training

Chris Molitor (CSCS / former Head Strength & Conditioning Coach for the MN Swarm) will running a performance training program at Parade Ice Gardens. The programs includes strength training, speed & agility work, sprint mechanics and conditioning.  Players who have participated in Coach Molitor's programs in the past often see great increases in their athletic ability on the field. The training also goes a long way towards injury prevention. No previous experience is required. 

Dates / Times:  Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Feb 15 - March 25.

Location: Parade Ice Gardens (North Rink)  - 600 Kenwood Pkwy, Minneapolis, MN 55403.

Participation Fee: $150 per player. Need-based financial assistant available by request. Checks should made payable to MPLS Lacrosse and can be turned in to Coach Molitor at the facility.

Captains Practice

Captain's Practices offer an offer an opportunity for returning players to dust their sticks off and for new players to meet the team or try the game out. 

Sessions are run by seniors on the team and generally include pick-up style games and drills. 

Dates & Times:  Tuesdays & Thursdays 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m., March 8 - March 24, 2016 

Location: Washburn High School Stadium,  201 W 49th St, Minneapolis, MN 55419

Participation Fee: There is no cost to participate.  Contact Coach Lipkin if you are a new player and would like to borrow gear.
